Full & Partial Dentures

If you cringe at the idea of wearing dentures, we understand. Many people have a negative reaction to dentures, primarily because dentures made years ago have a reputation for looking fake and causing irritation and discomfort.

At Dr. Stone's Office, we know that dentures are meant to solve problems, not create them. We know that your smile is unique, and we don’t create one-size-fits-all dentures. Modern materials and technology now allow us to create dentures that are stable, comfortable, and actually improve your appearance.

Updated Modern Dentures

There are basically two types of dentures – full and partial. Both types of dental prosthetic can be removed and are used to restore the function lost by missing teeth. We use partials if a few teeth are missing, and complete dentures when you’re missing all of your teeth.

Our customized dentures are crafted carefully at a respected dental lab by skilled and experienced technicians. State-of-the-art technology and advanced materials result in artificial teeth that look and feel as much like natural teeth as possible. Each denture consists of a resin base that resembles the appearance and color of your natural gums. The artificial replacement teeth are placed securely in the base one at a time for a natural appearance.

Before we take the first step in the dentures process, we will take time to talk to you about your expectations. You are part of the process every step of the way, and we work with you to customize your dentures so that they complement your face, your skin tone, and even your eye color.

Dental Implants for Added Stability

A common complaint among denture-wearers is their instability. Moving and slipping of dentures can lead to discomfort and embarrassing situations. If you’re worried about dentures that don’t stay put, we can suggest using dental implants for a more secure and stable fit.

Implant-supported dentures remain in place while eating, talking, and chewing. They are a more permanent solution than removable full or partial dentures because they’re held securely in place with dental implants.
